Meet Our 2017 E-Board
President, Steve Nickison: Coming from Medinah Country Club, Steve is an academic junior, studying civil engineering, who just got back from co-oping with Kimley-Horn. Steve is a triplet and his two sisters are attending Indiana University on the Evans Scholarship as well. He enjoys biking, coffee and photography, to name a few of his many interesting hobbies. Steve even biked around all of Lake Michigan. For this next term, Steve is excited about building a culture of unity and success within the House.
Vice President of New Scholars, Nick LaRocco: Nick wanted to be VPNS since he was a freshman going through the program under Victor Magana. A caddie from Naperville Country Club, Nick has decided to study biomedical sciences with the hopes of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. On campus, Nick is involved in Camp Kesem. This term he has a goal of reaching 100 percent activation for the next New Scholar class.
Executive Vice President, Savannah Vega Schwartz: One of our few Wisconsin residents, Savannah caddied at North Shore Country Club in Mequon, Wisconsin. She has decided on political science for her major, with the goal of going to law school one day. She started a girl’s club golf team here at Marquette and has been growing the program since it started in the spring of 2016. Savannah is excited to utilize her local knowledge of Milwaukee for our House events.
Administrative Vice President, AJ Folino: An avid golfer who caddied at McHenry Country Club, AJ is studying mechanical engineering. His dream job would be to work for a major golf manufacturer. AJ has recently started working at our Engineering Hall, further expanding his experience in the field. This semester he is excited to start an inventory system for the house so that everyone in our House has access to supplies and furniture as needed.
Vice President of Finance, Frankie Fanella: Another Medinah Country Club caddie, Frankie is excited to start the term, given he is studying accounting. He enjoys playing tennis in his free time. He joined our House this past year from NIU, and everyone is excited to utilize his unique position to better our House with his experience. He is excited to use more technology to organize our finances.
Vice President of Communications, Maggie McPike: Maggie, a caddie from North Shore Country Club in Glenview, Illinois, is studying psychology. She works in a research lab studying affective science, specifically emotion regulation and interpersonal communication, with the hopes of continuing on to graduate school. Her goals for this term are to increase communication with other chapters as well as with our Alumni.
